FAQ - Sustainable sneakers for the world

Why are Kulson sneakers sustainable?

Kulson sneakers are sustainable because we oppose the prevailing mass production in low-wage countries. We stand for controlled and transparent production in Europe and completely avoid plastic. Instead, we work with a variety of recycled components in our shoes. For example, each of our soles is made of 70% recycled rubber and rice husks. As another core element of our business, we donate 4% of the retail price of each sneaker' to remove plastic and lost fishing nets from the world's oceans.

How do the sneakers fit in terms of size?

Our sustainable shoes fall slightly smaller. If you sometimes fluctuate between two sizes, please be sure to choose the larger of the two with us.

Where are our shoes manufactured?
Every sneaker from us is handmade in a manufactory in the north of Portugal, under the highest quality standards and fair working conditions. Here, we place special emphasis on traditional shoemaking skills and firmly sew the sole and leather together. This is how we ensure the longevity of our products and create a sustainable connection with functional but minimalist design elements. Our founding headquarters and creative halls are in Berlin - Charlottenburg.
What is included in the delivery?

Each pair of our sustainable sneakers comes in plastic-free packagingdirect to your door. It comes with two sustainable kulson cloth bags for travel or clean, dust-free storage.

What if the sneakers don't fit?
If the sustainable sneakers you ordered don't fit or you don't like them after all, give us a short feedback. Within Europe, we will immediately provide you with a free return label for the return shipment. If you need a different size than you thought, we will exchange it for you quickly and easily. Otherwise, we will refund the purchase price immediately. We want our customers to be satisfied and happy in the long run.
